STUDENTS WORK HARD FOR OPPORTUNITY
We define activism as an act of standing for unity. Assuaged continuously creates valuable content, community service projects, and awareness events to evoke and support public health change.
We envision an all-inclusive world where we prioritize collective care and optimal well-being for everyone. We work toward creating a financially sustainable model of higher education that considers the interests of our students and stakeholders.
We are INCLUSIVE of ALL PEOPLE regardless of age, color, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
“Assuaged has been an extremely rewarding experience, and I’ve learned so much these past six months working with such talented individuals. In particular, I’d like to thank Ruchika Anand and Shikah Almuzayyen. In addition, Cynthia Murphy, thank you for your mentorship, guidance, and constant support. I cannot thank you enough and I can’t wait to see Assuaged grow!”
“When I found out that I was rejected a second time, I was beyond disappointed. I am not embarrassed to say that I cried for two days. I became too judgemental of myself. I was able to become an intern manager at a great public health startup company Assuaged, I worked on a COVID-19 Data Project, and networked with many celebrities/entrepreneurs. I thought that my accomplishments were useless and not worthy to work at a hospital. I even thought that my social anxiety in interviews cost me my spot.”
“It has been a fruitful co-op journey at Assuaged. They have been very supportive and has motivated me to be the best of whatever I am. I cannot thank you enough for being our source of energy and constantly communicating to help us gain maximum out of our experience at Assuaged. I am so fortunate to have joined this team as I got the opportunity to be mentored by Jeff Hoffman. With every meeting, I learned the nuances of business strategies and how to add value to a product.”
We are nerds and we care about you and your health!
